$435/$335 MCC tax district residents.*
Figaro, Figaro, Figaro! Rossini’s effervescent comedy sweeps onto the Kennedy Center stage with some of the hottest talent around. Your Alden staff hosts for the evening have opera experience both onstage and off. We’ll enjoy a three-course dinner at The Roof Terrace (alcoholic beverages not included) with special guest artists from the Washington National Opera. Please note that while formal attire is not required, because this performance is opening night, guests are
welcome to wear their finest or most creative clothing.
* Includes round-trip transportation from McLean, a ticket to “The Barber of Seville” in the orchestra section of the Kennedy Center Opera House, dinner, non-alcoholic beverages and an intimate conversation with members of the Washington National Opera musical staff. Registration deadline is Thursday, March 22.
Enrich your performance experience with insights into the theatre profession and exclusive opportunities for behind-the-scenes tours and meetings with artists, not to mention delicious meals and great company! At the beginning of each experience, you’ll meet an Alden staff member at Dolley Madison library in McLean and board a motor coach to a hand-picked restaurant. During the ride, our staff will tell you about the performance we’ll attend, and at dinner or brunch we’ll be joined by an industry insider who can shed unique light on the show we’ll see and the life of an artist. Then, onto the show, followed by a staff-facilitated discussion on the way back home. Restaurants and guests subject to change.
