Local Companies Sponsor and Support McLean Day 2016
McLean, Va. — McLean-based businesses and nonprofit organizations have once again come together to enhance the community’s annual family festival, McLean Day, by sponsoring important aspects of the event. Produced by the McLean Community Center, the festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Lewinsville Park, 1659 Chain Bridge Road. Admission is free.
MCC Executive Director George Sachs and MCC Special Events Manager Catherine Nesbitt developed the pilot sponsorship program in 2015 to allow local organizations to get involved in the community they serve, while also helping expand the festival’s offerings. Sachs says, “We were happy to discover that there were many enthusiastic individuals and organizations willing to help us enhance a wonderful community celebration.”
