2021 MCC Governing Board Election

Open Voting (March 17 through May 15, 2021)

 

Please note that this is not a public election of the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is a special election in Small District 1A-Dranesville, under the direction of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. Vote-counting and tabulation will take place on the evening of May 15, 2021 by the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area.

 

Ballot Request Form


This election is open to residents of Small District 1A-Dranesville. Property owners as well as rental occupants residing in the district are eligible to vote. A map and description of Small District 1A-Dranesville (which encompasses all of McLean as well as portions of some nearby adjacent areas) is available here (mcleancenter.org/about/district).

An affidavit (to verify residency within the tax district) is included with each ballot; both the affidavit and ballot must be filled-out and returned to the McLean Community Center by mail, or dropped off in person any time beginning March 17, and no later than 5 p.m. on May 15, 2021. All ballots must be received at MCC by the 5 p.m. deadline on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

*Must be 18 years old or older on McLean Day: born on or before May 15, 2003.

Number of requested YOUTH* ballots for your household This field may only contain numbers

*Must be 15-17 years old on McLean Day: born May 16, 2003 to May 16, 2006.

Our commitment to a fair election procedure:

1. Online requests for ballots are received and processed daily.

2. Ballot packages are mailed out promptly through the U.S. Postal Service to all requesting households.

 

Deadline

Completed ballots must be received at the McLean Community Center (by mail; or dropped-off in-person) any time beginning March 17, and no later than 5 p.m. on McLean Day, Saturday, May 15, 2021.
