MCC is open to the public; however, the activities and programs being offered are limited. The Old Firehouse Center will remain closed. If you do visit the center, please wear a mask and honor social distancing recommendations.

Beginner Dog Obedience

This basic obedience course is for dogs over the age of six months who have no prior obedience training. Topics of instruction will include heeling on leash, come/recall command, down, sit and stay command. Situational training as related to real life situations will be encompassed in this training. Behavior related problem-solving methods will be addressed, as well. Classes will be held outdoors. Please do not bring your dog to the first class, it is only for pet "parents." 

 

Instructor: Kevin Healy, Police K-9 Unit (Retired).

Dog Solve was started by police and military K-9 instructors to offer the best in dog obedience training methods to the general public. Our courses not only provide training in general obedience, but unlike other training programs, we also offer real-life situational training drills that puts realism in your day-to-day interactions with your dog. As all of Dog Solve instructors are government-certified, K-9 instructors, we offer dog training insight you can’t get anywhere else.
