K-9 Nose Work Level 1

No prior training is required. The method taught in this class is the same method used to instruct to Police and Military Detector Dog Handlers. Nose work is a great way to build a better bond with your dogs, stimulate their minds, exercise and improve their working and obedience skills. This is a low impact course that is open to dogs of all ages. This introductory course will teach the handler needed skills in working search patterns, learning terminology and imprinting one scent odor through a reward-based system leading to problem solving, using the dog’s natural hunt drive.
