McLean Day Festival

Need fun? Bring your friends and family and celebrate McLean’s biggest annual festival. This event draws approximately 10,000+ patrons throughout the day. Enjoy music, games, balloon animals, a petting zoo, amusements, sponsors, exhibitors, gourmet food trucks, large and small carnival rides and much more! In addition, a Jugglers’ Stage, located close to the children’s ride area, offers free performances throughout the event.
Transportation Options Abound
Parking is not available at Lewinsville Park on the day of the festival. Patrons can take free Fairfax Connector shuttles from McLean Metrorail Station and three satellite locations to McLean Day. Free shuttle buses will run from the parking sites to the park starting at 10:25 a.m. and running through 6 p.m.
Satellite Routes are as follows:
Red - McLean Baptist Church, 1367 Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, VA 22101, McLean, VA 22101. Patrons should meet the buses at the church entrance in the parking lot.
Yellow - McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean VA 22101. Patrons should meet at the main entrance of the Center where signage is indicated.
Blue – Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1545 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA 22101. Patrons should meet the buses at the church entrance in the parking lot.
Patrons can also take Fairfax Connector Route 721 to stop ID 5429 for just $2 each way. All Fairfax Connector Shuttles to McLean Day are air-conditioned, ADA and wheelchair accessible, have low floor ramps or are lift-equipped. They also have two bike racks and allow service animals.

Exhibitor Application Dates
Monday, Oct. 3, 2022: Registration opens for mcc district residents and businesses.
Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023: Registration opens to the general public.

If you are interested in performing on the McLean Day 2023 stage, please review the stage information and complete and submit an application. Deadline extended to Monday, March 20!
Volunteers Needed for McLean Day and July 4th Fireworks Celebration
McLean’s largest events need you to make these community events a success!
Able-bodied volunteers (age 16 years or older) are needed. Volunteers must be able to stand a minimum of four hours, bend, stoop, reach, lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Don’t delay—make a difference and be part of the fun! Students may receive community service hours for volunteering.
