Parent and Child Beignets & Profiteroles

Make Pâte à Choux, the pastry dough used in classic French pastries, and crème pâtissière, the luxurious French pastry cream. Then put all of these recipes together to make scrumptious Profiteroles (or choux à la crème). Also learn to make beignets, the French-style doughnuts from New Orleans and sample a savory twist. On the menu: Pâte à Choux; Crème Pâtissière; Classic Beignets with Powdered Sugar; Savory Cheese Beignets. Instructor: Chef Joel Olson.
