This class is suitable for both beginners and those who have taken improv classes in the past. Improv comedy is a great way for kids and teens to express themselves and gain confidence. Back by popular demand! Join The Alden for a creative (and de-stressing) Friday evening master class for families. Participants will learn the elements of Djembe Drumming from artist Kofi Dennis and then use those skills in a group drum circle.

This class is designed for those eight and up, and it is recommended that families participate together. Children under 14 must have a parent register with them.

For ages 14 and older. Technical training introduces students to many aspects of technical production, including safety issues, and is designed to assist local arts organizations with their productions. Volunteers who work in The Alden in a technical capacity are required to complete this training course, but these classes are open to anyone older than 14 years old. Participants may sign up for one or all sessions. Please wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement and closed-toe shoes with laces or Velcro, or loafers.

Please note: Participants age 16 or younger must have a parent or guardian present at the first session to sign a waiver before they can participate.
