Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month through Poetry

Thursday, May 27, 7 p.m.

Free, Virtual event

May is Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, and McLean is celebrating through the art of words. Tune into this online event to hear AAPI poets Regie Cabico, Gowri Koneswaran and Jenny C. Lares as they share their own work, take your questions and host an open mic for anyone identifying as AAPI.

This is a platform for amplifying AAPI voices, and we ask that only those who identify as Asian American Pacific Islander participate in the open mic—the rest of us get to listen.
