The Old Firehouse is opening its after-school program doors to rising 7th graders of all MCC tax district elementary schools! Join OFC from Monday, May 16 through Friday, June 10, from 4-7 p.m. to experience all of what the Old Firehouse has to offer—for free—for the remainder of the school year. Transportation from Franklin Sherman, Chesterbrook and Churchill Road elementary schools, to the Old Firehouse will be provided via the Old Firehouse’s vans. All participants from other schools are welcome to attend but must be dropped off by a parent or guardian.
A registration form and the completion of the Old Firehouse Participant Contract is required and must be submitted prior to your child’s participation.

Bring the family and enjoy the fun at McLean’s biggest annual festival. This event draws approximately 10,000+ patrons throughout the day. Enjoy music, games, balloon animals, a petting zoo, amusements, sponsors, exhibitors, gourmet food trucks, large and small carnival rides and much more! Ride tickets are sold onsite or may be purchased in advance online.
MCC management will make a decision on whether to hold this program due to the pandemic and best safety practices and will publish the decision here.

Zero Waste Productions

Zero Waste Event Productions will be helping us at the McLean Day festival this year to stay clean and green. They will manage and process all waste and recycling material generated at the event. Zero Waste Event Productions emphasis is on diverting waste through reusing, recycling and composting. This company’s goal is to achieve a “Zero Waste” status, considered a diversion rate of 90% or greater from the landfill.
Please consider being a part of the solution! Help by using the proper bins when disposing of items throughout the event! Stop by the sorting center at the event to see this work in action and learn more about the process and the importance of waste reduction and diversion.

Join MCC for a fun, summer kickoff event. This fun, fitness event is for children ages 3 to 9. Kids will make their way through a course filled with bubbles, water squirters, a jelly pool, cones, tires, foam and color stations. They also can enjoy unlimited time playing in the bubbles!
