MCC Youth Ambassador Program

Want to make your voice heard while gaining real leadership experience? As an MCC Youth Ambassador, you'll help shape programs and events for teens, collaborate with student leaders, and represent your school while making a difference in the McLean community by:

• Influence real decisions by sharing ideas and feedback from local high school students.
• Plan exciting events and activities designed for teens.
  Create social media content and help promote MCC programs to your peers.
• Develop leadership, communication and event-planning skills that stand out on college and scholarship applications.
• Network with community leaders and work alongside the student members of the MCC Governing Board.
• Earn volunteer service hours while making a lasting impact in your community.

You'll serve as the connection between your classmates and the McLean Community Center, ensuring that teen voices are heard and helping create programs that students actually want to attend.

Ambassadors meet once a month at the McLean Community Center or the Old Firehouse Center to brainstorm ideas, discuss community feedback, and help plan future events.

If you're creative, outgoing, community-minded, or simply looking for a meaningful way to get involved, this is your chance to lead, connect, and leave your mark on McLean.

Requirements:

Youth ambassadors must live within in the MCC tax district and must be in high school (grades 9-12).
