Drop-In Games at the Old Firehouse Center
Drop in for open game time at The Old Firehouse Center and jump into a friendly round of ping pong or Mah Jongg. Whether you're sharpening your skills or learning the game for the first time, it’s a relaxed, welcoming space to hang out, connect with friends, and enjoy a little friendly competition.
Families can also enjoy OFC's sensory room—a calming, flexible space designed for all individuals who would benefit from a low-stimulated, controlled environment. Created with neurodiverse individuals in mind, soft lighting, tactile materials, gentle visuals and other elements allow the sensory room to be used for calming breaks, growth or independent time. The OFC and MCC’s commitment to inclusion, accessibility and individuals' well-being ensures that all community members have a welcoming space where they can feel comfortable and supported.

May 2 - Art & Paint
Enjoy a day creating masterpieces and crafts! With our Snack & Paint teacher Gillian Bank, you’ll create a work of art to add to the wall, and our OFC’s Art Club Facilitator will be here to help guide you through some additional crafts. As we create and play the morning away, enjoy some hot waffles and refreshments.
June 6 - FIFA World Cup Tournament
Are you the best FC26 player in McLean? Are you an athlete looking to expand how your game translates off the pitch mentally? The Old Firehouse and Mindstate Wellness Center are celebrating the beginning of the FIFA World Cup by testing your skills on the sticks and in the virtual lab. While immersing yourself in the beautiful game, enjoy some food off the grill and cold beverages.
