McLean Community Center’s 2025 Governing Board Election Preliminary Results

McLean, VA Five Dranesville Small District 1A residents have won seats on the McLean Community Center’s 2025-2026 Governing Board. These preliminary results must be certified by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. The election was held at the McLean Day 2025 festival from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 16, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, at Lewinsville Park. Prior to the election days, absentee voting was held from April 2 through May 9. An agency of Fairfax County Government, MCC is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave. Its divisions include The Alden Theatre and the Old Firehouse Center.

The Election and Nominations Committee certified the winners as:
Adults, three-year terms: Ron Keesing, Anna Bartosiewicz and Liz Lawson.
Youth, one-year term—Langley High School area: Katie Myshrall.
Youth, one-year term—McLean High School area: Venita Wang.

The League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area acted as tellers. MCC Governing Board Elections and Nominations Committee Chair Katie Gorka informed all candidates of the results on Saturday night and MCC presented the election results to Dranesville District Supervisor Jimmy Bierman on Monday, May 19. Bierman will present the results to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for certification at its meeting on Tuesday, June 10.

The outgoing board’s final meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11 and it will be immediately followed by the incoming board’s first meeting, where the new board members will be sworn in.
