Improv for Kids
Improv training is a great way for kids and teens to express themselves and gain confidence. Focusing on creativity and teamwork, students will practice improv fundamentals, such as “yes and,” as well as beginner to intermediate short forms and theatre games. This class is suitable for both beginners and those who have taken improv classes in the past. Following the last session, students will perform in a class showcase for family and friends with The Alden’s teen improv group, (the) Unruly Theatre Project.
The class showcase is on Thursday, May 7, from 7–8 p.m. in the Community Hall. Students will be asked to arrive early (TBD) to warm up. The showcase will include participants from all three winter class sessions.
