Spike Lee captures the energy and the enormous talents of the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Passing Strange. The rock musical is a portrait of a musician as a young man, following him from 1970s Los Angeles, where he discovers punk rock, to Europe, where his talents blossom, but at the expense of those who care for him.
