Be Kind, Rewind

Two bumbling store clerks inadvertently erase the footage from all the tapes in their video rental store, which they believe to be the birthplace of Fats Waller*. To keep the business running, they re-shoot every film in the store with their own camera and a budget of zero dollars, culminating in an original “documentary” about the life of Fats Waller. Written and directed by Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and starring Jack Black, Mos Def, Danny Glover, and Mia Farrow.

Rated PG-13; Runtime: 1 hour 35 minutes.

*The Judy Carmichael Trio performs later this week. Carmichael is famous for playing in the Fats Waller style!
