Explore the DC area with fellow SIA members! Local trips are arranged monthly and are shared via the SIA weekly newsletter. Email grace.britten@fairfaxcounty.gov to receive updates. SIA trip costs include transportation, meal, and entry tickets as applicable. A bus will be provided to
and from McLean Community Center to the trip location. Upon registration, members will receive additional information and ongoing updates regarding the itinerary, menu options, and maps/location information.

Accessibility Considerations: Visiting the Library of Congress involves navigating to and from the bus at the Community Center and the drop-off location. The bus route to/from the site is typically less than 1 hour, traffic dependent. There may be up to .5 miles of traversing to and from the bus to the Library of Congress. Nearly all this visit should take place on flat, stable surfaces.
