“Ballet Russes” (2005)

Led by impresario Sergei Diaghilev, Ballet Russes was an iconic and groundbreaking ballet company that toured the world from 1909 until 1929. It made its mark premiering works by Maurice Ravel, Richard Strauss and, perhaps most famously, Igor Stravinsky. This documentary includes archival footage of original productions and interviews with surviving dancers.

Running time: 1 hour, 58 minutes.
Not recommended for audiences under 13 years old.
