Updated Monday, July 6, 2020—Beginning today, the McLean Community Center will be adhering to Fairfax County Government’s COVID-19 Phase Three Reopening plan.

 

MCC is open to the public; however, the activities and programs being offered are limited. The Old Firehouse Center will remain closed. If you do visit the center, please wear a mask and honor social distancing recommendations.

Unruly Group 11

 

(the) Unruly Theatre Project (UTP) is The Alden’s professional teen improv company dedicated to bringing comedic productions to the community. Members audition to be in the company for one season and are paid for each performance or workshop they do for the community.

Improv for Kids and Teens

Improv for Kids and Teens (MCC)
Improv is a great way for kids and teens to express themselves and gain confidence. Focusing on creativity and teamwork, The Alden’s improv classes for youth teach improv fundamentals including “yes &” in a supportive environment. Class is suitable for beginners and for those who have taken improv classes in the past. Participants will perform a 15-minute class showcase. 8 lessons @ 1 hr, $145/$125 MCC district residents.
