4/1/20 COVID-19 Response Update 
Effective Friday, March 27, at 5 p.m., all Fairfax County Government buildings are closed to the public. This closure will remain in effect indefinitely in an effort to reduce the risk of COVID-19 virus transmission. Additionally, Fairfax County strongly urges residents to follow the stay-at-home order issued by Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam on Monday, March 30. A Resource for the McLean Community
Want to help others or need help yourself? The Fairfax County Community Covid Aid Project is a charity started at McLean High School to connect volunteers with those in need in our community during this difficult time. The organization runs a database where McLean residents can access services, like grocery shopping and online tutoring, by requesting help from a group of dedicated volunteers. All volunteers are Fairfax County residents, who have signed up through the website, https://www.fairfaxcountycovidaid.org.

Parking: Free. Spaces are available in lower and upper lot of the McLean Community Center/Alden. Overflow parking can be found at the Dolley Madison Library.


Wheelchair Seating is available for those who use wheelchairs. Please make arrangements when ordering tickets. A 48 hour notice is requested and is appreciated. 

Hearing Impaired 
patrons may take advantage of the Alden's infrared audio system. It can be used with or without a hearing aid. Please inquire at the Box Office.

For Accommodations for Individuals with Disabilities and Other Special Needs
, the Alden asks that requests be made no less than 14 working days prior to performance or activity you wish to attend. The Alden is fully ADA compliant and will make arrangements for reasonable accommodations.


Special discounts: Residents of the McLean Community Center/Alden tax district receive discounts on performances year-round. Select resident price from the drop down menu online. Cell Phone Use
In order to give our patrons the best experience possible, the use of smartphones or other electronic devices is strictly prohibited at The Alden. All devices must be turned off and stored by the beginning of the show and must remain off through the duration of the performance. Failure to do so may result in ejection from the theatre.
