Buckets N Boards brings lots of laughs and lots of beats to McLean Central Park on September 23

McLean, Va.---Back by popular demand after a successful show in 2021, Buckets N Boards Comedy Percussion Show returns to McLean Central Park for a free family concert at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the McLean Central Park Gazebo. Presented by The Alden at the McLean Community Center, the show features two masterful musicians and comedians, Matt Levingston and Gareth Sever, who play an amazing array of instruments and found objects. The park is located at 1468 Dolley Madison Blvd.

The Alden’s Director of Youth Theatre Programs Danielle Van Hook said the decision to bring the group back was easy. “From the minute BNB started playing in the gazebo two years ago, I knew we had to bring them back! We saw so many families picnicking and laughing together as well as people on their walks grabbing a spot for an unexpected performance. BNB is charming and funny for all ages---really!”

Buckets N Boards is a hilarious, high-energy and interactive show that has captivated audiences worldwide. It has something for everyone to enjoy—amazing tap dancing, clean comedy, body percussion, beatboxing and more! Born of Server’s and Livingston’s shared passion for music and rhythm, it showcases their natural joyous charm and lighting quick wit. The comedy is centered on improvisational interactions that come to life through the nonstop hilarious interplay between the performers and the audience.

Buckets N Boards has performed 10 critically acclaimed summer seasons in Branson, MO, performed with the Kansas City Symphony, and are currently one of the most requested headline acts on Disney Cruise Lines.
